"They truly get games and gamers"
Ah yes, Starbreeze, that one publisher every gamer adores.
So how many DLCs will this game have?
snip
man Starbreeze fell from grace so hard after syndicate its amazing
Are you guys sure it's not 505 Games who introduced the DLC stuff? Is there a good source or any solid proof that Starbreeze or 505 Games forced the team to add DLC, or did the development team willingly add extra paid content?
I'm looking forward to System Shock 3 and to the remake either way. I had a lot of fun with Payday 2 even with all the DLC stuff going on.

I'm certain that 505 Games forced to add microtransactions to Payday 2, since Starbreeze were the ones to remove them in 2016, when they bought Payday 2 from 505

tbh it almost never is the dev who does it, I've seen, even if the publisher denies it
Though sometimes that does happen
wait when the fuck did ss3 get annoucned

Last year, roughly. Warren Spector is working on it as well.
I personally don't see how this is a bad thing? Starbreeze might not be the best publisher around but I dont see how they'll end up making this game worse at all.

cautious hype retained

MaxOfS2D is working on it
MaxOfS2D is working on it
Max is working on the remake of the first game
MaxOfS2D is working on it
Why does an animator's involvement in a project change its direction? I dont think the fact they are making animations for a game means that it will change anything about it, so its really petty to refuse to purchase a game just because you dont like an animator who worked on it.
So even if Max was working on it at all, how is that a counter point?

Ahh, his twitter bio just had SystemShockGame, I understand where I went wrong
well that's my hype gone then
The same applies to the SS1 remake as well, i'm not expecting it to turn out that good after they decided it needed orchestral music instead and "modern level design" whatever that means.
I only played SS2 for the first time a few years ago, and it was still a really great game. I don't see either of them getting things right at all.
Syndicate 2012 had some really good shooty mechanics and your character felt like it had some actual weight to it, and considering mr war inspector is the one in charge of everything I'm cautiously hyped.
