it seems like every once in a while ill be using a program, like video editing program, and then i do something and windows pops up a window and says something.exe has stopped working and i must close the program, i cant even click X to close it or else it will just close the program Like this: the only thing i did was try to move the word "just" to better fit the sound clip underneath. and that's where my computer says "fuck you", please help :( this happens with some other stuff to but this was serious enough to make me post this thread.
reinstall windows
shitty unstable memory?
If it happens in a lot of programs run memtest on your computer, if that doesn't fix it reinstall windows I guess. If then you still have problems I have no ideas, most other messed up components will take windows down.
Try upgrading to Windows 7. Much more stable than Vista.

It will remove your files though. (or use some trick with putting them in a folder. I'm not sure how it works...)

Seriously, just dl a w7 torrent. It works. And it's much more user friendly. So if you're going to reinstall anyways then why not? (User was banned for this post ("Suggesting Warez" - Craptasket))

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess OP is not computer friendly.
