• Custom Ringtones on the Samsung Intensity with Koodo

Not sure if this is the right section, but here we go: I recently bought myself a new phone, the Samsung Intensity. My service provider is Koodo Mobile (which I'm pretty sure is a Canadian only company), and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get custom ringtones on this things. My first instinct was to just drop some files onto the sd card that came with it, but that didn't work. Next, I turned to google: I found something promising. It was telling me to email the files to my phone. I did, and so now I have them on my phone, in the MMS section. If I go to my ringtone settings, one of the possible places to choose from is "My MMS Content". If I click that, it says "Please download first" as though I have no MMS content, when, if I find my MMS folder, that is clearly not the case. Any tips/help?
Get a friend with a phone that can accept the ringtones to send you an MMS with the ringtone, one of my american friends has a phone on Verizon that he has to do that to since the phone is so locked down.
I don't see why that would work when I already have them in my MMS section, but it seems to be saying they are locked.... I'll try it, would a blackberry work?
Oh my god, please tell me you have figured out how to do this. It's so terribly annoying having to download their shitty ringtones for the money grab. Please tell me you figured it out!
Im on Koodo, I got custom ringtones to work on my samsung slyde by installing samsung CDMA drivers and special unlocking software. If its anything similar u can find a solution by using google to search for you phone model #, and then followed by something like "custom ringtone"
