Actually the NSA leak from a month or two back WAS the wake up call.
The last 4 weeks have been chaotic at work due to all this shit. Not just the ransomware but the large upswing in compromised clients has been stressful none the less.
At times surging tickets up to 100/hr. Some days 500-600 tickets in a shift.
The ransomware is just another brick that fell out of a delapitated foundation.
