So, when are they gonna fix the issue with save data increasing in size every time you save?
PS3 mater race.
I remember when my roommate bought the collector's on PS3 and he was like boasting about how PS3 was best and Skyrim on PS3 was best. Then he lost his saves. Then he started hearing about the issues with the DLC. He no longer has the the PS3 version and bought the PC version. :v:
I think they just can't be fucked to be honest.
How much bigger we talking? Because that's kind of normal.
big enough to cause the game start to lag the further you get into the game
Bethesda will fix the dlc problem in the form of a complete edition for the low price of $59.99 after all the dlc has been released. I'm surprised that they are having such problems. You would imagine that the people who made the game would know how to implement dlc into it. This is turning into Oblivion for ps3 all over again. The only dlc Oblivion saw on the ps3 was Shivering Isle, and to this day it still cost $29. (Not counting the re-release of the GoTY edition which had dlc preloaded) It is these cases that I am glad I buy Bethesda games on pc.

The game stores more and more data because it has to save the state of every area you visit. It's part of the persistency of the world. The fact it's causing lag is bad though.
I got Skyrim for the PS3 because I thought they had both learned from and fixed the memory issues that New Vegas had. :(
Best way to solve this issue was if they had designed the PS3 with 512MB of RAM instead of 256MB, who the fuck thought that one up
I think they just can't be fucked to be honest.
the PS3 is really, REALLY awful to work with
I got sick of this shit and just bought the PC version (as I built my gaming PC after getting Skyrim). A kind fellow on the internet converted my PS3 save to a PC one, and I don't regret it one bit.
