Do you believe in assisted suicide - as in euthanasia given by a doctor?
I personally believe that it should be legal everywhere. What good is it for example, to have old people with no friends, family wishing to die in nursing homes? There's no point in just sedating them. They're not happy, not functioning, and at the most basic level - they take up room. Feeding them pills and sending them on their way isn't the right way to do it.
if i dont believe it it cant hurt me
What would one define as assisted suicide?

Assisting in suicide.

pooping on your chest
If someone has no chance of recovery and is going to die/turn into a plant/has already become a plant then why not?
But if someone wants to die because he lost his legs or something then it shouldn't be allowed.
Also no effort from the OP.
you are in control of your own life, why can't you be in control of how you die?
Semi-Religious; I personally believe that it should be legal.
I said religious legal but I am bordering on saying illegal
Depends what you call it,
if you count rejecting treatment or life support when seriously ill, then thats understandible.
If you mean stuff like requesting a lethal injection without reason other then not wanting to live, then the person need help, not death.
It's their choice, why would you deny someone in immense pain the opportunity to escape it?
I would find it a horrid job to just kill another human being because, "I want to die :C" if anything people need to learn the three letters of suicide...
G
C

Gun, Cut, and Overdose.
In fact it should be illegal too extend a persons life which can't be productive for the society.

kill all old people
kill all old people
My grandpa worked in an engineer shop before he was laied off. If I remember correctly... He's 70 something.
I disagree only because of the ramifications, legally, people would face in some situations.
I think people should be able to kill themselves in any way they see fit, but making somebody else do it is pretty horrible and self-centered.
Just buy a gun, eat some aspirin, something, fuck
EDIT: Unless a doctor does it with proper legal paperwork (and if the doctor also consents), then whatever
It's their choice, why would you deny someone in immense pain the opportunity to escape it?
If their in immense pain, they should be obliged to receive treatment for said pain.
And if the pain is that bad, they would probably will die soon anyway.
And if the pain is that bad, they would probably will die soon anyway.
that's not true at all, there are people who will be in pain and barely able to move for the length of a normal life.
And if the pain is that bad, they would probably will die soon anyway.
If by soon you mean weeks, then yes.
I think that if some one wants to die they should have the right to do so, even if it mean someone else has to assist them to do so

Although at the same time I suppose this raises the question is the person who wants to die in a fit mental state

Process them into little green food chips.
Agnostic. I think it should be legal.
I don't see why someone shouldn't be able to choose to end their own life.

Your post fits to your stupidity and ignorance.
Loosing a limb is not the end of the world. As long as it is possible that you are going to be happy you shouldn't be allowed to strip yourself of that chance.

So we have to kill every Bieber fan?
I'd like it to be legal, some people really don't want to live.
Why does religion relate to this?
I think it should be legal, but any footage/recordings of the persons death should be illegal.
Why does religion relate to this?
Religion relates to everything. In this case, if you help someone kill themselves some people will see it as a bad thing and they will go to hell.
Would we really need this legal, how hard could it be to kill yourself? If you really wanted to die you could do it and it would make murder a whole lot easier. If you kill someone you can say it was assisted suicide, the only person who could tell you the truth is the dead person.
I think it should be legal, but any footage/recordings of the persons death should be illegal.
What? Who said anything about recording it?!
There was a news article about this somewhere, a old lady who had a husband who was disabled all the way, he wanted to die but couldn't make suicide because he cant move, and the wife cant kill him or she'll be sued for murder or some shit.
