Would i need a new cpu or motherboard?
You don't really need a new CPU, although I would do it eventually if I were you. And as long as your mobo has at least a PCIe 2.x x16 slot your graphics card will work.

Can't seem to find your motherboard, that's why I didn't go ahead and find out for you.
what is your budget?
Yea, couldn't find anything on that motherboard either. Could you recommend me a good one that would work with my setup if i were to replace it?

Would prefer the mb to be under 175.

Depends on your budget. AM2+ sockets are a little outdated, which is the socket your CPU fits. I would look for you but I'm a little busy, check Newegg or another trusted dealer for some motherboards, but make sure the socket is AM2 or AM2+ (AM3/AM3+ are not backwards compatible with AM2/AM2+ sockets). Make sure it has a PCIe 2.x x16 slot (at least one, 2 if you plan on using SLI in the future) for your GTX 570.

You're pretty much set with that budget, you should upgrade your CPU to fit with your GPU. This is like the CPU. That would also mean you would need to change your motherboard to an Intel chipset, however because of the other pieces you'll be buying that doesn't change much. Now that I think about it there is an asston you can upgrade with a budget of $1,000. You could grab an SSD like this which will make anything you put on it (Windows, games) run with screaming speeds. Just mention exactly what you're looking to do and there's a lot of leeway with your budget. Upgrade your RAM too, I'll tell you how much if you get into more specific details about what you're going to be doing.

in that case, get a new computer entirely. the ram is bad, case is bad, cpu is getting outdated, psu is from afghanistan
salvage your HDD, optical drive, mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc

if you want an nvidia card, then

although imo I'd wait for the SSD market to start going down in price. from what I've heard, some of the earlier (and more popular) models are unreliable as fuck
Super bad value.

Leaves plenty of room for an SSD.
IMO the 570 has too bad of a value, rather put money on a 560ti/6950.
Save up 40 more dollars and sli/crossfire the gpu rather then getting that SSD.

It also depends on what kind of monitor s/he's using and how long s/he wants the GPU to last on its own.
Still quite a better choice to save up 40 dollars more to be able to afford 6950 sli right away.
