• British teen banned from America

And so it begins... A British teenager was banned from ever stepping foot on American soil for the rest of his life, simply because he e-mailed President Obama while he was drunk and called Obama an obscenity. The FBI then contacted local police in the teen's hometown in the United Kingdom and they alerted the teen of him never going to be allowed in America. Is this the US government overstepping it's bounds? Not only is the individual in question outside of America's jurisdiction (since the kid is a foreigner), but it's also a violation of his human rights that all human beings (even those who aren't American) are supposed to be entitled to (according to the United Nations). I believe ScoutedSoldier on Bungie.net said it best:
If I were him, I'd send another email saying "u mad?"

A British teenager has been banned for life from going to the United States of America. He was banned from sending an explicit email to the White House calling President Obama an obscenity. According to reports Luke Angel, 17, was contacted by the local cops at request by the FBI to tell him he is not welcome in North America. Angel was left dumbfounded. Angel apparently sent a single email to the White House email, cruising the U.S. government website after seeing a TV program about the 9/11 attacks. Angel claims he was drunk when he wrote the email. So what did Angel apparently say? MyFoxDC reported that Angel said that he called Obama a "prick." Angel called it silly and blamed his drunkenness for the email. The local police showed up to the Angel's residence and took a photo of him and told him he was banned from America. Angel's parents are apparently not too happy with their son. No criminal action will be implemented. Already a thread for this...
Wow. He's a fucking teenager and he was drunk. Lighten up Obama. We allow murderers and rapist on our soil but a drunken English boy and we have to shut down everything?
Freedom of speech?
whats the email
If threats were involved then you can get banned from the United States.
Why have two threads in the news forum, when we can have one in GD and ITN? OP, thanks for giving me the option to choose, do I want to read GD, or ITN. This made it super simple and made my life 100% better.
Freedom of speech?
Other people in other countries are not protected under United States laws.
whats the email
One would assume that it was the derogatory term for aferican american.
What would've happened if an American sent that e-mail?
This sounds really fake...
What would've happened if an American sent that e-mail?
The FBI, police, or whoever would come to your house, question you, and possibly arrest you if threats were involved.
One would assume that it was the derogatory term for aferican american.
i mean whats the email adress, lol
The FBI would come to your house, question you, and possibly arrest you if threats were involved.
Yes, but there were no threats in that e-mail and the British teen was stilled punished by being banned from America.
I doubt he'd want to come here.
Other people in other countries are not protected under United States laws.
They have that over there in Britain, too, you know. US isn't the only country with that privilege.
I find this so hard to believe.
What would've happened if an American sent that e-mail?
He'd get disappeared? [editline]11:16PM[/editline]
I doubt he'd want to come here.
Especially now.
Yes, but there were no threats in that e-mail and the British teen was stilled punished by being banned from America.
The email was never released. No one really knows. Notice the key word "if" I included.
Obama is a prick.
They have that over there in Britain, too, you know. US isn't the only country with that privilege.
Are you saying the laws in one country apply to all other countries? Lul
apparently freedom of speech doesn't apply to foreigners.
Hitler is a prick. Fuck, I'm banned from germany now.
Hitler is a prick. Fuck, I'm banned from germany now.
You're equating Hitler, a dead, former tyrant to Obama, the current, living president of the USA, and prick to the N-word?
You're equating Hitler, a dead, former tyrant to Obama, the current, living president of the USA, and prick to the N-word?
It was obviously a joke.
i mean whats the email adress, lol
Replied to wrong post somehow.
