i'm optimistic, i don't really mind if they push it back if it means it'll get better
is it still going to be bf4: the reskin? or?
That's probably the exact reason they delayed it.

That was one of the biggest complaints I saw, so I have a feeling they're going to try to change it up a bit more.
Battlefield 3 was excellent in a way Modern Warfare was excellent. They both reinvented their respective franchises, but soon started making the same formula, and become slightly more annual.
This is actually a massive business choice. Normally pushing back any title these days with such a marketing juggernaut like EA behind it would be news worthy, but this is a Battlefield game and fills EA's annual FPS slot. This decision could be seen as someone at corporate trying to head off another Battlefield 4 disaster by just giving Visceral some extra time but combined with the Dragon Age delay maybe there has been a culture shift at EA in general.

The next BF4 DLC (Final Stand) was also just delayed pretty significantly, so I'm curious as to what exactly is happening to cause all these delays.
