Chrome is overrated. Its quick and clean, but its lacking in functionality.
Agreed, only reason I use chrome is for easy downloading of addons and the like, and how its neat. I tried downloading Firefox once, but if you don't own a Mac or Vista etc etc, and use a good old Windows XP, then it looks like shit.
Opera i think is the absolute best for speed and ammount of features on a stock install... i've tried the others, firefox just gets bloated and slow, chrome is like a malnourished child, and IE is like those americans you see who can't get out the front door...

I use Chrome on my laptop and FF4 on my desktop.
it wont help find images but it can help steal your personal info
I felt Chrome used more power to run than the others.
I felt Chrome used more power to run than the others.
It uses more resources as each tab counts as a separate process and is pretty much a separate instance of the program.
It uses more resources as each tab counts as a separate process and is pretty much a separate instance of the program.
I have 17 tabs up. Nothing slowing down.
I have 17 tabs up. Nothing slowing down.
Might just be my god-awful computer then.
Chrome is more lightweight than Opera. I use Chrome on my laptop and FF4 on my desktop.
but opera's features and niftiness makes up for that. i mean speed dial, sync and mouse gestures are among the most useful features i get constant use out of...
I USED to use opera. Its laggy and slow. I guess for me. But chrome is fast and easier and much cleaner of a design
Might just be my god-awful computer then.
I have a computer with a single core processor @2.4GHz, an NVidia 5200FX, and 879MB RAM. It uses Chrome with many tabs just fine. It fucks up on flash where everything flickers and goes slow (If it's a game or something), but I think that's partially Ubuntu.
