Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, CSS, TF2, StarCraft, Red Alert 2.
Minecraft, Homeworld, Deer Hunter 2005 (Poaching Simulator 2005, my friends and I call it), Superfighters Deluxe, Gmod, Magicka, Realm of the Mad God, Killing Floor, Red Orchestra 1 & 2, DEFCON, L4D, L4D2, MOONBASE ALPHA, Altitude, Trine 2, and my personal favourite, IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
Torchlight 2 is fucking incredible for a small LAN party.

Armagetron Advanced
We once did a sleepless night... on just that game
unreal tournament 99 or 04
Dawn of War Dark Crusade is great for LAN.
Borderlands 2 if you're no more than 4 people. Also some MOBA games work IF you're all MOBA players and not just a few of you.

We have 5 people but only 4 of us are MOBA players, we'll just stick with aoe for now.
Pretty much any of the Worms games are hilarious in a LAN setting.

This and this alone. Unreal Tournament (99) was the LAN game of all time. Then you could get really, really fucked off with each other for sniping from the top of the towers on Facing Worlds.
Flatout 2!
Titan Quest
It's in the newest Humblebundle
Day of Defeat: Source is actually really fun, even for a smaller party.
Civ V is good on LAN. People say the multiplayer sucks ass but I've never had a problem with it. Might not be good if you have more than, like, 4 people, though.
Halo 1, if you have enough players.
The hype's pretty dead but Terraria had me and a friend up for far too long.
DEFCON: Everybody Dies
