• How to edit out parts of a video? WMM trim not enough
    6 replies, posted
Hey guys, I've recently got into streaming/recording with OBS, I have windows movie maker but the trim tool DOES NOT SUFFICE, if you know what I mean, the trim tool on youtube is a little more advanced but still not enough. Is there a free software where I can edit out stuff with precision instead of only being able to edit out the beginning and end sections?
don't ever use WMM :v:

Apologies if you're no longer looking for video editors. I found VSDC Free Video Editor to have a stupid name, but albeit a solid piece of software with advanced enough tools for cutting, trimming, adjusting, applying filters and objects and so on and so forth. Their website is http://www.videosoftdev.com/ The main gripe I have is that in order to make use of their hardware enabled encoding is to get the paid version. Free version is good enough as well, however.

There's nothing wrong with WMM, it's simple but if you don't plan on really doing anything big, it's fine.
