i've seen some really cool features on the ps4/xbone version like the nemesis that hops from your and your friend's games getting stronger when it defeats players and the legendary gift drops that allows you to give a legendary to a random person on your friend's list when you get one then there's the dodge that the old consoles had too that i feel like would be great in the pc version i don't really understand why they won't add these features to the pc version as well
Wait, console D3 has a dodgeroll? Holy shit that is such a useful thing to have, why would they keep it console exclusive?

ya that's probably true, just feels so weird coming from a pc to console port and blizzard no less
Wait, console D3 has a dodgeroll? Holy shit that is such a useful thing to have, why would they keep it console exclusive?
Indeed it has and indeed it is. I can confirm, its pretty useful, and looks cool as fuck when dodging a monster. Game's pretty good on ps3.
Yeah I'll admit, I've heard Diablo 3 can act like a twinstick when played on a gamepad, which seems like a great direction for it to take. Still, PC has more buttons than God, I think the keyboard can handle being able to dodge-roll on an isometric plane even if we're stuck with point-and-click for normal movement.
midclick (rebindable obviously) to roll in the direction of the mouse pointer?
The roll is mostly to make up for the fact that you can't accurately click where you want to move as easily because you are using a gamepad. Obviously it wouldn't hurt much to add it, but it wouldn't add much either because instead of dodging back you could just click where you want your character to go.
midclick (rebindable obviously) to roll in the direction of the mouse pointer?
Could work, though ideally you might wanna bind other things to the mousewheel, since it's technically three buttons in one (scroll up, scroll down, press it in). Maybe tap Shift or Backslash (\) for it, both are near the pinky finger when your other three are resting on the ability hotkeys. At least, that's usually how my fingers are positioned for shooters or Dota.
clearly the most effective bind would be exclusive to rock band drum pedals
Wait, console D3 has a dodgeroll? Even without buying the expansion I really like all the changes that have been made to D3 so far.
It's pretty amazing how much they've improved the game from the release version of Diablo 3. The patches leading up to the RoS release were amazing and they've kept improving ever since. The only gripe I have with it is that, as I'm getting older, it's becoming a bit painful to spam mouse buttons for longer periods of time like in Diablo (and similar) games. Being able to use a controller would be amazing and it's almost a reason to re-buy it for my PS4.
clearly the most effective bind would be exclusive to rock band drum pedals
Diablo III: Rocker of Souls I'd play that
