An unusual-looking creature dropped off by an anonymous man has left Chinese zookeepers puzzled. The zoo said the rat-like animal was 25cm long and had marbled tortoise-shell coloured fur with pointy paws and whiskers. The spotted brown-and-orange animal likes to eat grass and cannot be identified by zoologists. Keepers from the Wenling Zoo in south-eastern China believe this animal could be a new species of monkey or squirrel and will monitor its development to see if it will grow into something recognisable.
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/glanceview/191056/keepers-baffled-by-strange-critter.glance Looks nifty

Feet look like baby carrots.
I think it looks like a Monkey, its pretty creepy.
Reminds me of a Lemur.
First discovery: Aww it's cute! 2 hours later: Releases deadly poison through feel when threatened
This isnt really that special and happens all the time. Usually theyy arrent mammals though.
But, how will we get more of them if we only have one?
SO UNBELIEVABLY ADORABLE 'Dropped off by an anonymous citizen': how do we know that it didn't just wander there? Maybe it knew. Maybe it's not from Earth! (oooOOOOooooo...)
This isnt really that special and happens all the time. Wow, it looks pretty cute, China better not eat it
Maybe put it down before it reproduces?
I once was given one of these things by an anonymous Chinese man as well. They better not feed it after midnight like I did.
Until they find the flap saying "Made in China"
We find new species of fish and frogs and insects all the time, but you have to wonder how does something like this slip by for thousands of years?
Maybe put it down before it reproduces?
We don't even know if this new animal will do anything bad to the earth, it's stuck in a zoo right now.
We don't even know if this new animal will do anything bad to the earth, it's stuck in a zoo right now.
Better keep it that way.
It's a civet cat silly! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civet [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] It actually caused the SARS virus epidemic back in 2003
Maybe put it down before it reproduces?

Better keep it that way.
What, why?
I don't like the looks of it!
I don't like the looks of it!
.. I don't even know how to properly respond to you.
As soon as I saw those eyes I thought "chupacabras". When the rest of the picture finished loading I saw how cute it was
We don't even know if this new animal will do anything bad to the earth, it's stuck in a zoo right now.
Its not new it has always been there, we just recently discovered it.
I don't like the looks of it!
I wanna hold it like a stuffed animal.
Why it's eyes are snake-like? Is it a night predator?
And then turns out that it was one of those realistic china toys
Why it's eyes are snake-like? Is it a night predator?
Cats have those kind of eyes too.
