Valve got really lazy with the mutations. Damn shame too seemed like a good idea

Last time I got on this game, there were absolutely no servers at all, in any gamemode whatsoever.
Survival Versus sounds... alright.
I'm expecting the survivors to be finished in less than 30 seconds a lot.
What happened to those Custom, User Created mutations that were available in Facepunch some time ago? I would love to play the again.
Oh hell yes. Survival versus is the best.
Survivors can no longer bypass the airplane crescendo event.

i've never completed that campain in versus because everyone keeps leaving at some point

I wish they would just make the mutations into a list where you could choose which one you wanted to play, kinda like in unreal tournament and killing floor and their mutators. Would save them from having to switch it manually too I guess.

it seems like a good idea but basically everyone would want to play a different mutation and nobody would ever get a full game going

I feel like L4D2 would gain a lot more popularity if you could choose SI before spawning in versus. It wasn't really a problem in L4D1 since you always got 2 hunters, 1 smoker and 1 boomer and you could kill your boomer to glitch to get an extra hunter.

This could easily crate huge balance issues

There is mod on these 12-20 slot servers where you can pick up any class before spawning, but they have limits so it could get balanced, but Valve is lazy.

I personally wouldn't get rid of it... but it's definitely my least favorite campaign... in ALL of the L4D and L4D2 campaigns put together. I don't know why, there's just something... lame-ish about it.
