I sing, play bass and write music. I do not know how to do any of these well.

WARNING: Track 4, Sexually active Popes, is a lot louder than the rest for some reason.

Let me know what you think!
I don't see the need for the quotes because there's a lot that could be improved. The arrangements ok but the recording quality isn't wonderful, the synths need some work and the mix is really, really flat.
I appreciate you taking the time to help! I don't think there's much I can do with the recording quality or mixing, but I'm not really sure what I could do differently if I weren't just recording these through a fifty dollar capture card. As for the synth, I mostly write those with lyrics in mind to go back when I properly record them and add vocals and all that nonsense.
Wait, I think I've got the wrong end of the stick. Is this just a midi arrangement of a song you plan to record?
Pretty much. I don't know anyone who knows how to play drums or guitar, so I wrote all the bass and vocals I had planned into this very basic midi program made for guitar and drum inept people so I could write accompanying guitar and drums. I convinced myself if I write songs now and show them to people who plays those things I can't maybe they would like to write songs with me and we could get a better written one recorded with actual guitars and shit.
Ohhh, gotcha. I wasn't paying attention earlier and assumed it was a final song. In that case it's got a lot of potential, you just need to record it now.
Why thank you! I still don't know anyone who would want to spend time learning these songs though, but I do plan on recording bass and vocal parts for some of the songs I'm kind of finished with
Sounds like it could be really awesome when it's finished
