• Which cars should I consider to buy? (and then buy)

Top priority is technology (after safety of course). Is there a car that costs around $30,000 [del]and has one of these things[/del]? Nothing has this but Lexus.. I'd like to have this instead of a touchscreen. Also, inpocket key and push to start engine? The screen should be big as well. Suggestions? I'm looking at the Toyota Highlander, Honda CR-V, and Honda Pilot.Mainly because they have 2 screens...
You have no other preferences for the car besides gizmos? IN MY DAY KIDS DIDN'T BUY CARS FOR THE FANCY DOOHIKIES AND BIBLYWOBLERSHNAPLES.
Can't go wrong with the Honda Pilot. My dad had the first generation one and now drives a second generation one, because the first was near perfect for him. :v: Standard Honda "BUTTONS EVERYWHERE" affair. The Pilot doesn't really have that many gizmos, though. The second generation (Step down from the "Touring" one which is like $40,000 - his was something like $33k) has engine cylinder shutoff (6 cyl, 4, and 3) when cruising, Bluetooth, GPS, XM radio, USB playback, and leather + heated seats. The regular Pilot just has heated seats and cylinder shutoff, AFAIK. I've heard that the new KIA Sorento is pretty good - and it's a good looking car, as well. [editline]13th January 2012[/editline] Don't consider the CR-V unless you want to look like a woman. It's pretty much a chick car, though the newer one looks like it's trying to get rid of that association. The Toyota RAV-4 is larger, probably cheaper, and much less feminine.
The Maxima has a bunch of fancy doohikeys and crap: So does the TL 2012 Dodges have fancy big screens in them Some stuff there.
Don't consider the CR-V unless you want to look like a woman
Haha. My grandpa got a CR-V a few years ago after his ancient Mazda SUV started having problems. get something old as fuck and deal with it
30k? You've got more than enough for a luxury car... with 30k you could have a 05+ Mercedes C class, a Caddy CTS-V, a 5 or 7 series BMW (or an m3!), a mid-2000's Lexus with all the power packages.
CTS-V FUCK
I really like the Highlander. It's a Lexus RX 350 but $10,000 cheaper.
are you serious?
Hate to bump, but yes I'm serious? All under 30k. CTS's: (2010 and below, all under 30K) http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=cts&srchType=T&minAsk=&maxAsk=30000&sort=pricedsc&hasPic=1 Mercedes C Class: (2010 and below, all under 30k) http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=mercedes&srchType=T&minAsk=&maxAsk=30000&sort=pricedsc&hasPic=1 3/5/7 Series Bimmers: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=bmw&srchType=T&minAsk=&maxAsk=30000&sort=pricedsc&hasPic=1 Lexus E series: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=lexus&srchType=T&minAsk=&maxAsk=30000&sort=pricedsc&hasPic=1 Fuck, he could have pretty much any mid-sized luxury car he wants as long as it's used. So, you were saying?
But it's gotta be new and 2012 dood..
Get a TSX or a TL if you really insist on something new. I've always wanted to drive one of the SH-AWD ones. http://www.acura.com/ModelLanding.aspx?model=TSX http://www.acura.com/ModelLanding.aspx?model=TL
