OH BOY HERE WE GO, 60x DUMB FLAGS
Seriously, I know you're all very intelligent people who can do intelligent things, and will respond to me in a very intelligent way, but I've never heard of being penalized just for using reaction images. I mean, big whoop, you wanna fight about it? I thought this place would be an uplifting experience after stuff like 4chan. And then it turns out this entire place is just a wanabee version of it. Turns out you can't tell someone legitimately that you'd like for them to stop doing a certain thing without adding some "fuck"s here and there, or calling them a name. And now I'm worrying about a ban for using the word "the" in a post, or acting differential. You've probably heard all of this before, I have no clue.
I'm not attacking. I just wish someone would show me the ropes around this place, 'cause I'm grasping at nothing here.

Ok.
Look at the posting style of those who's not getting banned or box-bombed all the time.
And then monkey see, monkey do.
That's what I did back in "ye olde days"
Just lurk for a bit. You'll get used to things dear.
As far as I know, reaction images are allowed so long as they aren't the only thing in the post. It's highly recommended that you include actual content in a post, instead of effortlessly pasting the URL of a reaction image.
ost, or acting differential.
Have you tried acting integral?
A reaction pic can be good from time to time but still this isn't 4chan.

Well all you had to do was ask.
First up, bans aren't like bans on other sites. They're used as warnings. Just don't keep getting banned for the same thing, or for something obvious (like spam), and make sure you learn from them.
Second up, to learn without talking to someone directly, just don't post. I'm not telling you to avoid facepunch, but simply to watch. Lurk for a while and watch how other people post. Each megathread and forum has a different style to it, so make sure you know what you're getting into.
Other than that, just don't be an asshole, and you'll be fine. Image macros are rarely allowed, so don't use them. Flaming is only justified on a rare occasion, and chances are, you won't find it, so don't do that either. Just read this for everything else.
