In this thread, we post what vidya we've purchased recently. We discuss purchases and where we got them, stuff like that :D
On monday I spent $96.38 worth on games. What I got:
FINAL FANTASY VIII ($16)

FINAL FANTASY X-2 ($7)

XENOSAGA - Episode 1 ($6)

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty ($12)

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence ($18)

Ninja Gaiden Σ ($21)

I like to collect games, my collection isn't big yet. But it's getting there. I have around 20 PS2 titles (my main console). I own the MGS Essential Collection, but MGS3 didn't come with Disc to of Subsistence and I wanted to own the original MGS2. So, what do you think of these purchases? I've been wanting some JRPGs and my friend recommended Xenosaga, and I loved FFX so I got those. Also, Ninja Gaiden was bad ass.
Also, it would be cool if you were to provide a picture. Makes the thread look better.
I spent $80 on the SF edition of ETW. What a waste. The art book was badly made pamphlet and it only contained half a DVD series.

I have Rome: Total War. I like RTSs but, I really only like Age of Empires and DoW.
Starcraft is too rushy and Total War has too much management

got it along with 3 other UBISOFT games on steam this weekend for only 10 bones. I actually spent the time to dig my old joystick out of the closet. Damn that game is freaking annoying.
Does it suck?
Half-Life: Source ($9.99)
Half-Life ($9.99)
Half-Life: Blue Shift ($4.99)
Half-Life: Opposing Force ($4.99)
The Maw ($9.99)
Playstation ($15)
Tekken 3 ($3)
Best $18 I ever spent after 9 PM.

Holy shit you changed your avatar!
Playstation ($15)
Tekken 3 ($3)
Best $18 I ever spent after 9 PM.
I wanna get a PS1. Like a actual one, PS3 doesn't count.
Unreal Tournament 3 ($20, this month)
Dawn of War II ($50, last month)
Is that a good thing?
Well it's better for one.
and yes.
The planes are impossible to control for some reason, with both keys and joystick.
You need to set flaps and get decent speed before you pull up. This is a flight combat simulator, not Grand Theft Auto.
Gonna buy LBP tomorrow.
May I suggest you order it offline, much cheaper.
I've been playing Microsoft Flight Sims for years, I know how to fly a plane...
What planes are you trying to fly?
Wee! I just got SIREN for the PS2.
Yeah, I have no idea how to fly the planes in IL2. I crash and burn before I even get airborne, haha.
I've never been good with flight sims. Never saw how they were fun either.
They're very relaxing.
I agree.
I usually always felt calm while cruising 30,000 feet in a 747
I have no money, so the last game I bought was Left 4 Dead when it was $20.00
I find them too boring. I can respect the genre and all. But I don't see the appeal.
I Pre Ordered this:

$120.00 Australian Dollars.
I am so fucking psyched.
I ordered Assassin's Creed.
My friend bought me Empire Total War, but my most recent games was Jade Empire Special Edition and Sid Meiers Railroads! because they were really cheap
I'm confused, is 120 AUD a lot? Cause I hear people get games for 100 AUD and 100 USD is a lot. It's like 40+ a standard console game.
To my knowledge, new games in US are $40-$60 US, but all new games, *all* are >$100 AU. It's fucking ridiculous.
Spore ($50)
What?
...
Someone please tell me how this game can be so damn addictive!
