• Time to start growing!

Well DD, looks like springtime has settled in nicely and it's time to start growing again (In the northeast US, at least). It's suppose to rain a bit in a couple days so I think I might as well plant a few seeds very soon, maybe tomorrow. Unfortunately, I am stuck with using bagseeds again. Living in the US, the idea of buying seeds online seems a little risky to me, and I haven't found anyone selling seeds around here. Oh well, I grew from bagseed last year and the product was not bad at all. Anyway, anyone else growing weed this year?
I was getting ready until we had a fucking storm last week.
I'd love to sprout my own shrooms. But if I can't even get connections for shrooms, how am I supposed to get spores?

I've found a few websites where you can buy spores, I was thinking about growing my own.
A couple of the headshops here in my city in canada sells both cannabis seeds and mushroom spores. One store even has a plant in the main store area to show off haha
Not that growing shrooms at home is season-dependent...
Me and my buddy want to this spring. But we don't know how, and don't want to waste our seeds and grow shit weed.
got 1 bubbakush this year, its in a pot already and germinated. gotta order the other seeds for this years grow.
I think it's high time I started growing. Any tips for beginners? I'm going to be growing the seeds in pots that are about 6x3in, and will be in my windowsill. I've heard germinating the seeds first makes them more likely to grow, as well. I already know everything about the male and female plants. Edit: Fuck that, I don't have the patience.
dont bother growing weed by a window, cannabis needs UV light to produce cannabinoids, glass blocks UV light and reflects other light.
he is probably worried just as you are
Well yeah, but spores are actually legal.. and cannabis seeds, as far as I know, are illegal unless sterile which would make them useless to me. I don't know, this was the case when I last checked.
Most efficient way to grow, right there. 24 hours of light, vent fans and automatic watering system. Nutrient formula included. Room for six plants.
24 hrs of light aint good.
It works for vegetation, but I agree it isn't the best choice.

germinated some shitty bagseed, now they're on my windowsill until they're started. Then I'll plant them out in the glorious outdoors. Might get some clones, since these seeds are shitty.
24 hrs of light aint good.
I imagine you can set it on a timer
Some growing box would sound like an ideal choice. Maybe in a storybuilding apartment too. Like, room for 1-2 plants and so that you can switch the lightning system from vegetation to flowering phase by a switch, then just water em with nutrients and shit if not an automated system.
I imagine you can set it on a timer
You probably can but he said "24 hours of light" implying that, yes, he does have it running 24/7.
Hes probably just vegging [editline]12th April 2011[/editline] gawsh everyone get off his nuts

My hemp plants are on their way. (From 09)
I think it's high time I started growing.

24 hrs of light aint good.
Actually it is, as long as the temperature is kept between 75-90 F. You wouldn't believe how fast they grow with 24 hours of light on all sides. In fact, the light cycle doesn't change until the first vegetative stage. Even then, it's 16 hrs light/8 hrs dark. Then once the time comes for budding the timer is set for 12/12. Once they're done budding they revert back to a vegetative state, at which point the 24 hour light cycle is resumed.

19 hours of light is good, it exploits growing more than 24 hours
