Well that took a while. Oh wait its not even a dislike but a "sad" button or something. I guess it is kinda like the friendly rating or something.

Sensationalist as usual.
However he went on to say he did not want it to be a mechanism with which people could "down vote" others' posts. Instead, it will be for times when clicking "like" on "sad" posts felt insensitive.
It is not a dislike as in "This post sucks"
No more liking starving kids in africa?

It's also always the same few users who make these posts. If you think the BBC is some left wing propaganda machine, firstly you're wrong and a fucking moron, secondly you could always just go read the Mail Online if you want to hate brown people without any splashback.
No more liking starving kids in africa?
1 sad=1 dollar
1 sad=1 dollar
For only 3 sads a day, you can feed this child.
For only 3 sads a day, you can feed this child.
Sorry kiddo, I only make 2.47 sads an hour :(

True democracy? I mean it would be ok if BBC didn't pretend to be the pillar of free speech. It's either free speech or not, there is nothing in between. If its not completely free then it's not free speech. [editline]16th September 2015[/editline] Censorship is censorship.
Freedom of speech is an article of international law and when interpreting it you have to take into account it's context and purpose. Free speech is meant to protect and advance free expression for all, whereas certain applications of free speech may actually work to the contrary, derogating the human rights (among them free speech) of certain groups. Those applications are against the spirit of the law and also incidentally contrary to the exception set in the last article of the declaration which voids any misinterpretation of the other articles.
Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein.
