No matter what settings I put Flight Simulator X on, the textures look absolutely horrid. The textures look so bad that you can't even read the instruments... Can someone please assist with this. I am downloading a patch right now, and hopefully that will fix the problem, but until then, any advice? Also, Specs: Athlon X2 7750 BE 2.7ghz 2gb RAM HD 4870 512mb 500gb HDD Windows 7 64bit Even maxed out... [editline]10:21PM[/editline] Pictures... Thats because they always will look bad. FSX's map has junk texturing due to how big the f'ing map is. The flight map is about half the size of the game(6-7 gbs). You can't do anything about it. But you also have to think about what it is processing aswell as it has to place the map on screen.

Yea, but whats the cpu and ram on your friends pc? Because if he/she has a i5 or i7, than thats probably why.
Make sure video drivers are up to date, if they are, then the patch should fix it
