Seeing shit like this makes me think Greenlight as redundant. Why try to get the comunity fired up when "games" like this can get in without any effort?

Money and big publishers.
Why try to get the comunity fired up when "games" like this can get in without any effort?
Are you seriously knocking all point-and-click adventure games? Not that the Secret Files series is the peak of the genre (it's not bad either, mind you), but are you seriously taking everything, from the classics of Sierra (King's Quest, Space Quest, etc.) and LucasArts (Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, et al.) to modern works such as The Longest Journey and Machinarium, and writing all of them off with a sarcastic declaration of "games" complete with condescending quotes?
I apologize if I'm misinterpreting your post, but that's how it strongly comes across as.

I honestly didn't like kings quest as a game. The shit "puzzles" made no sense. But I only played 5 and 7 and they were damn awful.
Edit: one of the brilliant puzzles in kings quest is use the pie on the yeti if you haven't played them.

I'm not insulting the point-and-click adventure genre. That wasn't the point of my post. The point was the impression this particular game gives of itself in the images is extremely poor. I was questioning why games like this, with it's seemingly low production quality, get in through negotiation where arguably more worthy games have to go through the clusterfuck that currently is Greenlight.
