I just got my XFX Radeon HD 5770 in the mail.
I am trying to install drivers for it
It says to put
sh ./ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run
in the termanal
It says
sh: Can't open ./ati-driver-installer-9-11-x86.x86_64.run
Try chmod +x ati-driver*, and then try that command again.
The * is just a wild card because I'm too lazy to type all that out.
chmod: cannot access `ati-driver*': No such file or directory
Its on my desktop

your home folder isn't the same as your desktop folder
cd ~/Desktop should do the trick depending on the distro you're on
Ubuntu 9.04
I still got the same thing >.<

I tried double clicking on it and hit run
says I need to be a superuser?

I moved it to the home folder, and got this
Created directory fglrx-install.DfVTuz
Verifying archive integrity... All good.

Then a message box saying I needed to be a superuser came up
sudo sh blahblah.run
Cant believe that worked
