So this is a thread where you post your collection of interesting hardware (old, new, shitty, whatever), preferably in pictures.
Here is my collection:
This thing is old, but it still does its job well, I use it as a second monitor.

Just found an old Cyrix 686MX CPU
iMac
Dell Dimension E520, Pentium D 820, 4GB of DDR2-533 memory, Radeon X1300 Pro.
An analog TV tuner and a Wi-Fi card that's not compatible with anything anymore.
An ATI Radeon 9600SE.
I have a 2001 sony vaio hidden away in the closet, P4 with an ~~AmAZiNg~~ 5200fx
I wish I had loads of old computers. I did have an old HP compact PC but it got thrown out.
I got a couple old Dell Power Edges, HP M3 and M5s (All still currently work).
From my Salvage yard:
GPUS:
Radeon 8500, 9250, 9800SE, x1650pro
Nvidia Geforce 440MX, TI4200
3DFX Voodoo 3
Some Sigma Realmagic ISA video card, unidentified model
CPUs:
Intel 386,486, Pentium [60MHz], Pro 200MHz, II (400MHz), III (500MHz)
Celeron 1.7MHz
AMD, Athlon XP 2600, 2800 (Socket A boards).
A few unidentified (unlogged) processors ranging from the late 70s to the early 90s.
ANd of course, tons of harddrives. Most in use, especially my scsi harddisks.
OP, I love your carpet.
Computer room circa 200...2, if I can recall.

Ghetto-ness is self-explanatory
New shipment just came in. My sister asked me to build her a computer and thought I might be able to use parts from a couple of old Dells.
I open up one, and instantly get blasted with a wall of cigarette dust. Haven't checked the parts in it yet.
The second one on the other hand, had an ATI Rage card inside.
It also had a 160GB Western Digital IDE drive in it. If it still works, I'm gonna plug it in and set it up as a backup drive.
[editline]22nd February 2011[/editline]
Needless to say, I've ordered new parts for her.
MIPS, Why did you create a new account?

Bottom three
Not counting my Commodore 64, my first "PC" was an Asus P5A Mobo, a 500MHz "Super Socket 7" AMD K6-2 CPU, 128MB of PC100 RAM, an ATi AGP 2x Rage II 3D Pro 8MB video card, an 8GB Quantum Fireball harddrive, and a cardboard box for a case. I later moved it to a server case I got for free.

He's not the only one.
I have a computer with a Intel core2duo E8500 and 4 gigabytes of ram.
Not using it for anything, since it's massive overkill for a Fileserver/seedbox (what I originally intended to use it for), when a Intel D510MO and 2 gigabytes of ram could do the same job without breaking any sweat AND save money on electricity.
I'm stuck with a Pentium Dual-core laptop with 3GB RAM and an 8MB HD intel graphics card. It is impossible to even play Source games without everything ugly as hell and less than 10FPS. :'(

Got everything in it for freebie.
Only thing I bought for it, is the motherboard :v:
