"The full set-ups are supposed to be quite easy to learn and to master, and from there you can start unlocking things and seeing what your preferred setup is."

"We’ve added a test range where you can learn to fly the transport helicopter, not crash it into your friends. We’ve reworked menus to give you a much better understanding of how you customise – comparisons when you add attachments that give you a better understanding, just like racing games. We have reworked the spawn menu, just the concept of spawning in; in most games you just end up somewhere random, but here we have a choice. We have to try to show that in a much more visual way. So we’ve done rigorous testing on that one. Game mode movies and so on. We’ve definitely done a lot to smooth the learning curve."
Source
But have you removed battlelog? [editline]sada[/editline] Then you have failed.
the bf3 unlock system was complete shit you had to grind on shit maps over and over again to get unlocks, and if you wanted to play honestly you would barely ever get any unlocks.
But have you removed battlelog? [editline]sada[/editline] Then you have failed.
There is nothing wrong with battlelog.
They should also be slapped again for the maps that launched with the game
They should also be slapped again for the maps that launched with the game
noshahr canals, kharg island, caspian border, operation firestorm and damavand peak were fantastic, it was only operation metro, grand bazaar, seine crossing and tehran highway that were bad.
noshahr canals, kharg island, caspian border, operation firestorm and damavand peak were fantastic, it was only operation metro, grand bazaar, seine crossing and tehran highway that were bad.
What's wrong with Tehran Highway?
What's wrong with Tehran Highway?
it was so similar to karkand
There is nothing wrong with battlelog.
There is everything wrong with battlelog.
There is everything wrong with battlelog.
I skipped BF3 completely and kept playing Bad Company 2 over Battlelog and Origin. To this day, I still think I made the right choice. BF4 better fix a lot of shit.
I skipped BF3 completely and kept playing Bad Company 2 over Battlelog and Origin. To this day, I still think I made the right choice.
They should also be slapped again for the maps that launched with the game
I know they're now so cliché, but the middle-east sandy maps were the only good ones in BF3. Tbh all they had to do was port every bf2 map over and it would have been amazing. Instead we get shitty Metro and Bazar.

Can't say I like it at all. It feels way too easy to die and the whole thing just felt incrediby inferior to bad company. Well, once we got origin to launch it anyway.
There is nothing wrong with battlelog.
Sometimes I show as offline to all of my friends unless I'm on a server, meaning they can't invite me to any games, everyone I know who plays BF3 has had this problem at least once.

And I have to agree on the unlocks being retarded, stuff like the defibrillator, C4, SAM launchers and flares on aircraft should be unlocked by default.
There is nothing wrong with battlelog.
battlelog is shit Want to change server??? NO FUCK YOU LET ME SHUT DOWN THE GAME AND RESTART EVERYTHING AGAIN BECAUSE YOUR PC IS SUPER FAST AS FUCK AND YOU LOVE TO HAVE CHROME ON WHEN YOU PLAY I hate playing with background apps, it's the shittiest gimmicky shit DICE and EA made is battlelog and i hope whoever made it has a heart attack

You do know that you can just do that, right? Press join on a server, wait till it starts loading, then close chrome. Loading a new map is done anyways, and the level load on server join takes just as long as new round load on a server you are already on. Load times are dependant on how the engine is set up, not how you launch the game, simply done like that in frostbite to minimize fuckups.

You know what's worse about Battlelog for the PC? It cherry picks servers to show you, and doesn't give a flying fuck about your filter. Full, popular servers doing well? Fuck showing you those, we want to show the empty unpopular servers to give them an equal chance of being populated Sounds good in theory, until you realize all but a couple servers are empty. So you either need it in your favorites/history or its IP really, which kind of defeats the purpose of a browser altogether
I don't really mind battlelog since I have a special browser thing using chrome just for battlelog so I never have to open my clusterfuck of tabs to play BF3.
what about caspian border, noshahr canals, alborz mountains, armored shield, damavand peak, kiasar railroad, wake island 2014, operation riverside and sabalan pipeline?
caspian= ok but clutered, contrast too high noshahr = BLOOM LENS FLARE wake island = wake island (see 1942, bf2, 2142) pipeline = better but linear and uninspiring riverside = just dull alborz mountains = this one was huge and actually resembled proper BF, too little too late though :( The Bad Company 2 maps were more fun imo.
The worst part is that they incorporated battlelog onto the consoles. They even dedicated a button to it, the button that was previously used for spotting now pops up a fucking battlelog menu. Because in the middle of a battle, the absolute first thing that I want to do is check my battlelog, right?
But have you removed battlelog? [editline]sada[/editline] Then you have failed.
Battlelog is the best way to start a multiplayer game. no need to wait for bullshit intro screen, or having to go into main menus. Just start your browser and choose a server and play.
noshahr canals, kharg island, caspian border, operation firestorm and damavand peak were fantastic, it was only operation metro, grand bazaar, seine crossing and tehran highway that were bad.
Exactly. That's way over the limit for shit maps in my book.
another thing too why the hell do I have to open the game via browser? seriously holy shit, give me a launcher that like idk literally every other game that has ever existed has.
Battlelog is the best way to start a multiplayer game. no need to wait for bullshit intro screen, or having to go into main menus. Just start your browser and choose a server and play.
you do realize that steam server list also does EXACTLY that without being browser crap right? and not only is it way faster, there's zero wait, no gimmick plug in download, you don't need a BROWSER to run it, you only rely on 2 servers, not also the sites, it allows for much easier use. They could have done that but just for that game, but, nope.
Battlelog is the best way to start a multiplayer game. no need to wait for bullshit intro screen, or having to go into main menus. Just start your browser and choose a server and play.
That's a nice DICE PR quote, but in reality, Battlefield 3 turned out to have the slowest, most drawn out process to get into a server I've ever experienced. A lot of times I'd spend a good 10-15 minutes before just giving up and exiting out of Battlelog.
Battlelog is the best way to start a multiplayer game. no need to wait for bullshit intro screen, or having to go into main menus. Just start your browser and choose a server and play.
Except it doesnt give you the full server list unless you scroll down, meaning if I want it to rank servers by the amount of players I'll only get about one or two decent sized servers at the top unless I scroll through the list enough to get a decent amount of servers.

Set to 1-5 and player limit to whatever you want to play at.
