That solar farm/mirror thing better be involved in a major quest.
Wow this already looks amazing.
It looks marginally better. Mostly because the skybox isn't a dark grey and everything isn't green.
Although one thing i noticed, the roads seem intact and with all that open desert as is...can we expect a vehicle of sorts?
Great resolution for the screens.

That's all GR had. I even checked out the Bethesda PR site to see if they released anything higher res but they have not. At least, not yet.
There's a press pack full of concept art, and screenshots on the net - it's not scans.
Nobody in here ever said they were scans.
It looks just like Fallout 3 reskinned :/
But I did find the high res shots. Uploading them as I type.
Looks alright, I'll wait for a GOTY version though.
And yohan broke my automerge.

God damnit
This uses the same engine as FO3 right?
Yes.
Nuff' said.
I hope there are more companions. The companion menu seems like it'll be useful.
Textures seem to be lacking detail, but that's just me.
I thought there was going to be a bigger improvement over the graphics in Fallout 3. Hopefully they'll make better animations for this one though.

Oh and add more armor. Unless those are just placeholders
I'm liking the colt 1911 and the m16, but they are very out of place for fallout. The 1911 being made in 1910 fits in because our timeline and FO's is the same up till about 1955, the m16 was still in development at the time and they most likely had a better weapon already developed IE the laser rifle.
I really like em though.

I'm pretty sure the screens are from the console version. PC will be a hell of a lot better, granted it's like the last.
also the graphics do look a tad better but like i said before, that might just be because everything isn't green and gray.

That's a CAR-15/Colt Commando/XM177. Also, there's no fixed date for Fallout divergence so technologies developed on the fringe years can certainly be included if they look the look.

Pretty much. After seeing these screens I'm honestly not too excited for this game.
Is that a cross dressing Super Mutant?
Game looks great, the golf club is awesome
This looks exactly the same as Fallout 3.
I'm disappointed, I wanted Bethesda to use a new engine. The animations in the old one were too clunky...
Just thinking about 3rd person view makes me cringe
Yeah the textures do look like hell, but I didn't spend 100 hours on Fallout 3 for its graphics.
I hated FO3 for its...engine, its gameplay. Everything about that game seemed half baked, i hated it.

Agreed. I play for the excellent story. But they have to find something to cry about. Otherwise they would have no reason to post.
Looks good and I'm waiting patiently for cross-dressing Super Mute's and golf clubs.

a CAR-15 essentially is a compact m16.
