Wait, I need to leave the house in fourteen minutes. Do I risk watching it and leaving late? :gonk:
Adam Sessler looks 20 years older from last time I saw him.
That map and interface :gizz:
Oh, man, cant wait to get home, watch this and then saxxy awards in the evening. Gonna be one hell of a day tonight lads.
My jaw dropped when he was in a conversation with that dude in the town. :aaa:
"So we can't get a 'Satchel o' Dragon Souls'?" :v:
I love how the notifications pop up all smooth in transition
Here. Money. Take.
Was going to watch a movie, guess it'll have to WAIT because it's Skyrim time!
girlish giggles
Money. Take. Here. All of it. Ok, maybe just $60. Game. Give. NOW.
A lot of this is the same footage from E3, but some of it is new, like the inventory system. The dragon picked up the giant just like last time, so I don't think that was something random that happened just then, nor was it scripted. I think they just played while recording, then used the most interesting footage they got. And if they did script anything, it was just so they could show off the things that were possible without having to waste so much time waiting for the coolest things to happen. People are complaining that because things might be staged or scripted in this demo, but that's just what it is, a demo. They're just showing you examples of what could happen, that doesn't mean the exact same thing is going to happen when you get to those places in the game.
I normally don't play rpg's, but holy fucking shit.
Dat lighting in those caves are so good. Magic looks AMAZING.
Graphics really don't look that great. Dull textures, really noticeable pop-in, some terrible animations (Horse walking is realistic, trotting is not. etc.) There's also obnoxious screen tearing. But at least I can tune settings up on PC! Buying this for sure. e:The ui is really annoying though. Why can't we just get something small in the bottom left corner? Yay PC mods!
fuck, I'm reinstalling Oblivion right now [editline]8th June 2011[/editline]
Graphics really don't look that great. Looks amazing, but why does everyone always demo stuff on the 360?
The interface and the map doesn't look very Elder Scrolls-like. Personally I like it, but I'm not sure they're going to keep it that way?
I still don't get what shouts are. Are they just magic that can only be acquired from dragons or is there more to it? I also wonder if you can survive without getting a single shout at all. To me shouts seem like gimmicks so far. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline]
The interface and the map doesn't look very Elder Scrolls-like. They had the same inventory in oblivion and when you get many items it becomes a real pain to manage, atleast here we get a proper preview, but still I'd prefer grid interface. The skill menu could work well on consoles as you move left and right, but on pc it will feel kinda slow I bet.

On another note I really like the new skill system. It seems far more in depth than Morrowind or Oblivion. I honestly can't wait for Skyrim, and so far it seems like it's going to live up to all expectations.
Looks amazing, but why does everyone always demo stuff on the 360?
Easy setup, less things can go wrong, etc, less to cart, can hook it up to a big screen more easily, etc
Horses and the way you hold the axe in first person need to be fixed.

Holy shit that map screen.
Holy shit that map screen.
My jaw dropped to China
Wow, this is gonna be the most expensive year for gaming ever. So many games, and a new pc on top.
The horse looks odd to me. Red Dead Redemption had the best horses.
I have it pre-ordered <3
