When I took out my cables, there were two ends that look exactly alike, same color, same strings, etc. Now when I put it back together do I have to put the right side to the ride slot, or does it even matter?
Which cables exactly?

To tell you the truth, I have no idea. They hook up to my mobo and my usb ports.

So the front panel connectors?

In some cases yeah, a couple might look the same, but as you can see each one is labeled with what they are, so check with your mobo manual for which pins they go into.

Wow that would be useful, but nope I have no names on them, all I can identify about each cord is the different colors/heads.
Was this a prebuilt computer mobo?

Yes, it is the sx series from gateway.
Ah, that means that the pins were never designed to be marked. The two that are the same, will most likely be power and reset.
Okay I have no idea on where the cables go, I believe I set everything up to the psu..but is there any website online that tells me how to do these things. Seeing a profession is my last resort.
