My Grandmother had a tumor in her brain for 10 years

So FP I have a rather interesting story to tell you.
A few things to know first:
My Grandmother is a diabetic and she is extremely independent.
So, about a week ago my grandmother is at work. Yupp 72 years old and still working daily. Anyway, she was working and she passed out in the middle of work. So her manager calls the paramedics and they take her off the hospital. They find out that the reason that she passed out was because of her blood sugar. So at first the paramedics think that he Diabetes had to do with her fainting. They take her to a room, get her situated but the doctor insisted on a MRI. But like I said before she is extremely independent and will speak her mind and refused but the doctor convinced her to do one. They came back with the result and they found what looked like a golf ball sized tumor on the left side of her brain. So she stayed in the hospital for 3 days and then she had her brain surgery. The surgery took 10 hours but she came out fine and the got out the tumor. But the tumor was the size of a fist. The doctors were astounded that she was still living to this day. They then found out that she had the tumor on her brain for 10 years.. And now, 3 days later she is back home. Making me delicious fried chicken and sweet tea (she is from the south) with staples in her head.
Lucky old lady.
I found this thread mighty tumorous.

Tell your grandmother that she's won the official Facepunch's most Badass Grandmother Award
That's a really happy ending that she's ok now. That's also weird she recovered so fast.

Fixed some of the typos.. Sorry didn't notice them..
My grandmother too had a large tumor behind her right eye a little bit smaller than a golf ball. Except she passed out in the waiting room and then went into a coma and died.

Oh, oh well... It's not really that big..
My grandmother had a tumor in her brain as well. She died after about a month. It wasn't as large as your grandmother's, though, so she is definitely lucky.

It's the Assassins Brotherhood, I know.
And you go to that statue when you want someone dead or something, but what does that have to do with my post?
My dad's mother died 2 weeks ago.
:(
edit: What the fuck is funny about this, it did happen.
My mom's mom's mom is like OP's mom, whenever we visit her she makes some of the best southern food in town and always has stories to tell.
