I really want to play something immersive right now and I want to play skyrim but many people have told me that pretty much all the quests have dungeons. Now I have spent 500 hours on oblivion(plus the mods) and I loved the quests there! Killing people in a house or stealing things from houses and a lot other that wasn't dungeons. Now is every quests in Skyrim really dungeon lurking? Because I am not really into that to be honest.
there are plenty quests that dont involve dungeons but skyrim is pretty far from immersive in my opinion
Would you say that oblivion is more immersive?
If everyone you know is a potato.
Not every quest, but a significant amount.

I'd recommend you Morrowind if you're patient with games.
Immersion500
hahahahahahaha yeah that got me laughing actually. I am talking about the story of the quests and such and trying to get better items while being sucked in the game.
Proch I have played morrowind and I am looking for something new. But it's a hell of a suggestion mate
All Bethesda games are mainly dungeon crawlers.

Obviously but oblivion had a shit ton of quests that didn't involve dungeons. I like my dungeons but I don't want to spend the whole game in the dungeons

Obviously not all quests are dungeons but most of them are, like all Bethesda games..

Is there any percentage of that? I don't remember so many of them actually.
I might be wrong though.
The quests from Oblivion are arguably better, but the gameplay of skyrim (if not the RPG skill system) and the graphics are a big improvement, and that helps immersion.
I hope you like Draugr.
For me, the biggest factor of immersion is how much I (as a character in the world) impact the world around me. In this regard, Skyrim is GOD FUCKING AWFUL. You can literally save the world from the brink of destruction 400,000,000 times and nobody even gives a shit about anything other than some arrows in their knees or some stupid sweetrolls.
Oblivion is better in this regard and Morrowind even more so.
Someone will occasionally say something regarding missions, but you don't get so much a thank you at any point. At least it Obliv you got some Armour.
Play world of warcraft, I dont like it but I know some people do
Actually no don't do that, The only other game I cant think of is Star Wars Knight of the old republic 1 or 2

Balgruuf does stuff somewhat like Oblvion but other than him it's like they went, "This is too hard lets just finish him and be done."
