Okay, starting off, I know very little about computers. I know some, but not enough to make this decision on my own.

Is this good value for money as far as a moderately alright gaming computer goes? If not, can anyone help me find something better but still in that price range?

You can always find something better if you build it yourself.
Don't tell me you cant do it because you can. www.pcityourself.com
Head up to the PC building subforum and the guys there will build your dream rig for the budget you choose.
They choose all the parts, and all you have to do is click "buy" and then assemble what amounts to lego.
You're getting ripped off. Don't go for that. learn to build a computer, so much cheaper!

He obviously doesn't want to build a computer, he just wants to use one. Building doesn't suit everyone.
Also how the fuck is that a ripoff, looks fine to me. You could play alot of games with that, but unless you have a moniter, it will set you back another $100-200.
ugh such an ugly case for that much money.
Yeah, I've fallen on just building a computer. From what I can see it's a better option for me. I made a new thread in the PC Building section about it.
