YouTube is a big place, [del]for you[/del], and it is home to a countless number of creators all with a unique style and twist to their videos. As a quick little 'post your', I wanted to know, Facepunch, for improving myself:

There are userscripts to automatically redeem steam keys don't post them in cleartext
I look for no bullshit, just give me videos related on the topic you are promoting. I don't want to see videos of your dog sleeping, or "family video EMBARRASSING! LOL" or clickbait.
No clickbait is a must, but honestly i'm usually on youtube for a laugh. People who make funny, sometimes original content. I only really watch one LP channel for example because i like the people, its not really about the video games, compared to most LPers whose sense of humor ranges from Dick joke to *unintelligible screaming*
[sp]Thanks for the red alert <3[/sp]
Thanks for the Burnout Paradise! :D
Anyways, What do I look for in a YouTube channel?
First of all, Quality content. Now, seems like a no-brainer, doesn't it? Well, most channels consist of content sloppily thrown together, and some of them just fell down into this drain (Game Theory did so, in my opinion) even though they started out very good.
Also, don't make content for the sake of making it. It never turns out good and sure... inactivity will make people unsubscribe, but poor content is gonna make sure that they will unsubscribe and not come back. When inactive, you get the chance of getting the subscribers back (I've done so to 5 Second Films, actually).
Best thing to do is to make content that you enjoy making and others enjoy watching, then try to work from there. Most of the popular channels have started out as being for fun. Cashing in isn't a good idea, just do what you like to do. If it's something popular, then you're lucky. Also, since this is internet, you never know what unexplored niche you might hit. There's a guy on YouTube who talks about swords and other medieval weaponry (The channel's name is Skallagrim, BTW), and even though that's a topic that I don't fancy, his approach and passion towards it really makes it worthwhile and interesting even to someone who isn't really into it.
One more thing: Don't be afraid of criticism. Those who avoid it don't get better, those who take it into consideration do.
Looks like I'll have to discover a niche for my content!
Thanks for all the replies so far! I'll be sure to take them all into consideration when I get moving again.

No need to apologize! Just enjoy the game ;)
I usually look for stuff that makes me laugh
humor, but don't force it
Something you actually put effort into instead of a clickbaity thumbnail series you do for money first and try to inject comedy into second.
Once again, thank you all so much for your replies! I just hope I'll be able to execute them in a pleasing manner ;O
heres my list:
- nice voice
- funny but not forced funny
- interesting content
- originality
