Well after looking through some ads on the MSPA home page, one caught my eye, some kid in a makeshift scuba suit. I investigate to find a fairly new web comic, its only a few pages long but its artistic and I like it, as an example heres one of the first pages I'd post more but there not much known about the comic, just that it looks awesome.
Heres the link

Crap, can a mod change NSFW into Art?
Looks all right but you should really try to put more quality into your thread.
Unless I'm blind, you haven't even linked to the comic.
With that being said, the art is good, but I don't like the way he drew the character.
The artwork in the first page got me excited for a Miyazaki style of drawling and fantasy, but then I was disappointed, it looks interesting though.

I agree with this statement.
The seagull is the main character? I don't understand.

go to derelictcomic.com, it has the full comic so far.
Only problem I have with it is that the character seems to not have joints...
That'd be fine, but the style for the landscape is gritty, realistic and defined, while the style for the character is too cartoony in comparison
So, basically, it took 13 comics to establish the daily routine of the main character?
Boring.
yawn
Its the first few comics, Its not crazy-ass shit like homestuck yet, Patience is a virtue.
This is pretty cool.

His foot in the third panel of that page is fucked up though, it's backwards.

I know, where are the explosions and car chases and guns and aliens and zombies right?
Looks like it could get pretty interesting.
He's reading Of Mice and Men? That's not symbolism at all
At least they don't try to be funny.
Webcomics never are.

He? I thought that was supposed to be a girl?
By the way, guys who fap to cartoon characters can't be held accountable if the characters have ambiguous sexual characteristics right?

When i saw the NSFW tag i thought this was going to be just like oglaf
Silly main character, you have no eyes. Or joints.
Although post-apocalyptic setting on water. Could be interesting.
First thing to pop in my mind when I read the title?
Zoolander.
I say the comic "CROSSED" is better.
It's someone living alone out in the middle of the wilderness, except on a boat? I actually can't think of anything else that uses that plot...how did this happen?
Seems like it'll be good.
Looks good so far, I like how it's not a comedy strip because they're usually not funny. I'll follow it for a bit and see how it goes.
I'd read this. It looks like it could get interesting.
Penumbra on the side of the ship
Derelict - Fashion for the homeless
web comic and awesome in the same sentence creates an oxymoron
