It was hard and I botched the landing really badly but they're both okay! Youtube muted the original audio when I tried to put a track in, audio should be up in a minute. Just play something awesome beside it.
what game is this?
what game is this?
Rise of Flight, Amazing free WWI airplane sim, you get 2 planes to start out with and you can buy the rest. Very detailed and really good physics.
Lucky Bastard.
The physics engine for this is awesome. I'm so glad it's being used on the new IL2 game.

So there was an update today for ROF, [t]http://riseofflight.com/Forum/download/file.php?id=37871&mode=view[/t] with this baby, I'm gonna dock it
Rise of flight is pretty good, only downside is you have to buy the planes individually, and that can get costly. But regardless I suggest anyone go to the site and at least try out the free two planes.
You don't have to buy each plane separately, the two free planes is the demo and the full game is available for $20 (with plenty of planes).
Eh that kinda sucks in a way if you ask me. I mean how you have to buy planes. Also the physics engine feels unredeemed without some customisation of planes.

multiplayer dogfights?
Yes, the multiplayer is quite active and easy to use, actually.
btw they are gifting a bunch of planes for free on their forums in the GD, I would go now before its too late
How does this game compare to war thunder?
How does this game compare to war thunder?
COMPLETELY better in almost every single way, though it's a hell of a lot more hardcore with a larger learning curve, but if you've played IL-2 you should be able to play this well.
This has inspired me to try rip bomber's wings off solely by ramming, since I can never take those things down.
can you skydive in that game???
can you skydive in that game???
They said they'll never add that in to keep an E rating.
They said they'll never add that in to keep an E rating.
Blowing occupied planes out of the air with high caliber weaponry = E for everyone. Skydiving = M17.
Anyway pilots didn't have parachutes at the time. They began tu use them near the end of the war but I don't think they were widespread.

You get two planes and full, unlimited access to every other part of the game, that's not a demo. There are plane packs that have bundles of planes for a cheaper price, though. $40 for 18 planes, or $10 for eight. The Germans used them at the end of the war, Ernst Udet had his life saved by one.
How does this game compare to war thunder?
Dude War Thunder is absolute piss shit compared to this. This is like Red Baron 3D being brought into today's world I don't think it has quite the popularity Red Baron 3D had, with constantly full 32 player Melee servers, nor do people have any sense of 'honor' anymore. Back then, if you were on the ground, people left you alone and waited until you got in the air and were ready to fight, now days people will just line up, shooting through one another, to try and get the easy kill that's on the ground, usually shooting down their own teammate in the process. Vulching was a universal No No and frowned upon and the entire server would gang up on those who did it. Good times I consider Rise of Flight the WW1 version of IL-2 Nieuport 28 pilots represent
Rise of Flight is so fucking great. It has a fully crewable Gotha G.V and an HP0/400. That alone is jizz worthy. I have a pretty hard time flying with just my old cheap sidewinder though, this is the sort of game you need rudder peddles for.
Nieuport 28 pilots represent
Sopwith Pup master race. Maybe we should have a game sometime.
Sopwith Pup master race. Maybe we should have a game sometime.
there's an old rof thread we should revive the mp wwith us fpers
This game is intensely fun, I love it.
