• What laptop should I get?

Hey FP, I'm looking to buy a new laptop, after having an HP for nigh on 4 years, I want a change. I'm looking at Lenovo, 2 models. What laptop is good for me if I wanna play the occasional videogame (Skyrim mostly), but that's also just good and reliable for home use, such as writing and the such? The 2 I have in mind are Lenovo IDP U430 i7 and IDP Flex i5. There's a 35.000 kr- (~$300) difference between them, and I'm leaning towards the smaller more expensive one... Any help from those with Lenovo experience?
If you want to play games on it, makes sure it has a graphics chip other than intel, preferably a nvidia one.
I'm using the Lenovo Ideapad Y500 and love it. (the 1920x1080 one, there's a lower res one iirc - 2.4GHz i7 and a 650m so nothing spectacular, but it handles near everything great) The Y510p is an even better model. Can't advise between the U430 i7 or Flex i5 though, as I've not used either. Lenovo are great, though. For it, I love the keyboard - it's basically a chicklet keyboard, even if the lights are a bit ricey (just turn 'em off) the touchpad is pretty good, the screen is great, laptop itself is plastic but feels nice enough. There's not a great deal of heat - the heatsink shoves it nicely out the left side, so it manages itself right. Windows 8.1 isn't too terrible tbh, and you can reinstall 7 if you want. The battery life is 4 hours or so on power saver if you charge it to 60%, you can get more if you charge it to 100% (it auto caps at 60% with power management, but you can change it) but don't expect anything special - the thing will flatten itself quickly without the charger, it's more of a desktop replacement that you lug around with the charger. I'd highly recommend it, but it's not flawless - it's a bit heavy, a tiny bit big and so on. Also since it's a bit ricey, it's a bit more of a theft target than some other laptops, though I'm sure you'll be careful with yours!
