"I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about MJ," Garfield said. "And I was like, 'What if MJ is a dude?' Why can't we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It's hardly even groundbreaking! So why can't he be gay? Why can't he be into boys?"
SOURCE Hey, let's get Harry in on it and have a big gay love triangle! Why not?
Gary Jane?
I still hope that this MJ dies from cancer due to his radioactive semen.
okay i'm all for gay rights and shit but really. really.
I don't see the point in spiderman exploring his sexuality when in the first movie he's had a raging hard on for Mary. I mean, did you see the night rain scene where he kissed her? Tits were showing through the shirt. I don't think many o men would suddenly explore after that.
There's nothing wrong with the idea beyond it not being necessary.
Gary Jane?
Hairy Mane
Yes we're looking for gay rights. No, not everything needs to be changed to be "gay". Why not change everything in the Avengers 2? Peter Potts and Nathaniel Romanov.
From just a movie standpoint, sure, why not, but if they're trying to be as close to the comics as possible then nah.
Yeah, don't make a movie about any of the gay supers or anything, just change an existing one. Granted, they're few in number; but they exist, damnit.
Gary Jane?
Larry Jane? Barry Jane? Harry Jane?
Its really not the worst idea. Dealing with their sexuality is something a lot of teens and young adults have to handle. And seriously, having a major, prominent super-hero in film expressing any kind of homosexual tendencies would honestly be a pretty impressive sight. Its all in the execution.
From just a movie standpoint, sure, why not, but if they're trying to be as close to the comics as possible then nah.
It's completely shoehorning a story element in for the sake of it. The whole point of them doing it would be to go "hey guys look we believe in equality and portraying all kinds of sexualities!" rather than doing it to actually change people's perceptions. It's completely possible in the comics and other mediums given you have so much time to work on the depth of these characters, the potential relationships and making them believable as possible rather than just cramming some shoehorned BS relationship into a movie that'll have a runtime of 1 hour 30 mins at most for the sake of marketing. I'd want to see them explore these themes but in a way and in a medium where it can be done properly.
she could easily just turn out to be a shemale. a woman stuck in a mans body. but what if they made her asexual? what if she was confused about her sexuality the whole time and she doesnt identify as either male or female, but as a sexless SPIDER, hence her strange attraction to a man in a spider suit. she would soon find out that spiderman is actually a real man and leave spiderman - and theres your spinoff. The inner struggles and outward adventures of mary jane the sexy shemale
Nice.
Wasn't there that new Spider-Man comic that made Peter Parker a black kid and he was also gay?
Or you could make a movie (that isn't a superhero movie) that focuses on teenagers dealing with their sexuality.
I still hope that this MJ dies from cancer due to his radioactive semen.
They already did that with the multiverse.
Or you could make a movie (that isn't a superhero movie) that focuses on teenagers dealing with their sexuality.
OR you could make a superhero movie that focuses on Gayman and Leswoman and fighting LGBT crime on the streets of Seattle and converting confused teenagers to homosexualism
Wasn't there that new Spider-Man comic that made Peter Parker a black kid and he was also gay?
He's not gay, just Black and Hispanic. And he's Miles Morales, not Peter Parker (He died in that continuity)
well... Guess he enjoyed it here so it's not surprising.
If you want to make a movie about a famous superhero but have them be gay, why not use Earth-2 Green Lantern Alan Scott? He's gay. Granted that cosmic retcon also negated the existence of his children but whatever.
Wasn't there that new Spider-Man comic that made Peter Parker a black kid and he was also gay?
nah, that's just a new kid who takes the mantle of Spider-Man.
wait! i got it! we'll do an Avengers remake where they all need to have gay buttsex in order to generate enough kinetic energy to power and generate a loophole into a foreign galaxy full of shemales so that they can destroy them before they attack earth and kill billions of straight humans. the twist at the end would be that one of the avengers actually has a hispanic/jewish father and he has to come out to him before he dies.
Maybe I just don't give a crap about Spider Man, but i've already seen a female Mary Jane so shit why not let's make Spider Man interesting again. That sounded super gay.
while we are at it lets make Captain America gay!
youre now thinking about hulk buttsex
