• Post songs you'll never finish EVER

I think many of us have songs or pieces of songs lying around that we've maybe had a great time making, but a really hard time finishing. Maybe inspiration went dead, or the project files were inexplicably transported to trash. This thread is dedicated to those of us who wants our lost ideas to still reach the light of day. Is it bad? Post it. Is it horrible? Post it. Is it you whacking your mic with a spoon? DEAR GOD, POST IT! (Is it actually a bit good and you want to pretend it's bad so everyone will say "hey dude, this is pretty good"? POSSSST IT!) TUNGUSKA http://soundcloud.com/tuliq/tunguska/s-2y2B8 When I discovered how awesome double-tracking guitars sound. I still dream about finishing it... but I need an actual band first, or it seems pointless. So anyone else go stuff like this just lying around catching dust?
So many, since I make electronic tracks. I have like four hundred things like this lying around. [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] Tunguska is pretty cool btw. Can I ahve the stems for it?
So many, since I make electronic tracks. I have like four hundred things like this lying around.
I know what you mean. Post some though. Here is a midtempo house track I've been working on lately. http://soundcloud.com/hhesse/floating
I've been stuck on this, mostly trying to record it. I did say I was going to practice it, but instead I started working on an album.
It's a shame because I really like the bassline :( [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] Also this The project file got corrupted
The project file got corrupted
That's how I've finished about five or more songs, the file breaks and I call it good. I do usually try to salvage, but that never works out well. I don't really have this issue anymore because I keep versions and backup everything to a separate hard drive.

I've got projects breaking on all fronts, at the worst times. Time to inverst in a external HD.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12705796/Dubstep%20clip.mp3 Now that I listen to it again I sort of want to finish it. And my first ever house track which started out nice but turns really bad towards the end http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12705796/House1.mp3 and just another thing i really liked that will never see the end http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12705796/Oh%20joy.mp3
I have a bunch of songs that never made it past the loop stage. Maybe I'll edit them all together into one track.
Here are two interesting things that I made up while playing bass. I'd like to develop them further but I know they'll never become full songs.
I'll probably never get round to finishing this. Piano bluesy jazz sorta thing. Made it on garage band using midi, no loops.
Got as far as that.
Ooh, that's nice!
Here's a compilation of songs I'll never get done with probably http://soundcloud.com/tuliq/sets/dead-songs/s-GfLgn
[del]Probably this mess because I'm pretty terrible at making music.[/del] Post is irrelevant because I just finished it.
This insanely heavy Meshuggah styled piece of shit I wrote: Written the full song but I can't be arsed to record it..
