• ASUS P8B75-M - Only one sata working?

I'm trying to hook up either A) a DVD-ROM Drive or B) An HDD to my motherboard (an ASUS P8B75-M), and only one hard drive (my main hard drive, with windows installed on it) seems to be working correctly. The mobo has six SATA connections available, one of them being 6gb/s and the others being 3gb/s. My main drive is connected to the 6gb/s port, whilst the others are what I'm trying to hook up to my peripherals. The disk drive doesn't light up or do anything when the button is pressed, and the HDD doesn't work either, when I'm completely sure they're receiving power and are connected correctly. I know the drives aren't faulty because they were just in a computer where they worked, and I'm moving them into this new one. I should also add the BIOS config isn't picking up any of the new peripherals either. Any ideas on what I could do? Would there be BIOS options?
Have you double/triple checked all the cable connections? When I built my computer I wondered why the hell two of my case fans weren't spinning, I ended up spending 20 minutes googling for a solution only to discover I had forgotten to connect the cables to the mobo, even though I was positive I had plugged them in :v:
Turns out one of the connections on the power supply was broken. :v: I'll have to buy a new one soon. Anyway, this is solved I guess.
