• I got frostnip

I was shoveling snow and my fingers ( Point, middle, ring) have puffed up at the tip. I've put it in hot water, and at first it was all pale and puffy, but about 40 mins later, it started gettting wrinkly from the water. Any other good idea to help me? My fingers feel hard but at the moment look like any regular finger.
You shouldn't have put them in hot water. Keep them near warm air is the best you can do.
They will start to thaw and it will hurt like a fucking bitch. Man through it, I don't know how bad you got it but you might want a rubber spoon or something to chew on. I got frostbite last year and I still feel the effects of it this year, I have to wear heavy duty gloves when others aren't wearing any. A slight case of frostnip will go away once your fingers thaw, but it has the potential to hurt like nobody's business. Fingers are a trauma site, so it will make your whole body feel numb/nauseous if it's bad.
My ring finger has gotten soft now. Other two haven't changed, no pain yet. I have one of those heaters that blow out hot air. Is this ok to keep my hands near? It's at 90 degrees. I'm fucking freaking
Keep it near, not right in front of it though. If one of your fingers has thawed without any pain you really shouldn't have anything to worry about, then.
Alright thanks.
I don't think you have frostnip if the fingers first went hard, and then went soft. You're looking at frostbite right there.
