• Debian Automatic Driver Updates?

Hello. Is there anything for Debian that's lightweight which provides the same sort of friendly automatic driver updates that Ubuntu does? I'm not a big fan of having to scour the Internet for drivers to my individual components. Thanks in advance for information you can provide. I'm not much of a *nix user of any sort.
I think the Ubuntu one just downloads the drivers from the repo anyway. Besides, you should have everything you need in the Debian repo, just don't forget to enable the non-free and contrib repo's.
Most drivers you need except proprietary video drivers are already included as modules for the kernel, and they're loaded automatically. [editline]2nd February 2012[/editline] What kind of device you want to download drivers for?
Do you mean the "You have uninstalled proprietary drivers" bullshit that Ubuntu has by bullshit? That program is jockey-gtk, fairly sure you can get that on Debian, I think there's a package or two you might have to manually update but that's not that bad.
Yep it looks like nikomo is right http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/jockey-gtk
