• Old Steam GUI?

Any way of getting the old GUI back? I HATE the new one. (I tried searching but it's disabled; my bad if this has been already asked)
You can't. The new UI is permanent. There is the possibility that someone will make a skin that simulates the old GUI, but I haven't seen one yet. You can try this stuff to make Steam look as much like the old version as possible, but I haven't tried these so I can't vouch for them. :saddowns: It's so ... involved... I just want a plain, simple games list and friends list like before. I don't care which of my friends have the game or whatever :bang:
Get used to the new one It looks better, and I saw it grow up durring the beta. Trust me, you will get used to it.
I hope those links help.
I miss the old steam. This one is clunky and ugly as fuck. I prefer it to be simple, the old version was easier on the eyes. Damnit, Valve...
mine is still the old one i win

You'll get used to the new one quickly
Uses 10 times as much memory and proccesor power :C As if steam before was not bad enough.
Steam went Web2.0
???
In my opinion that was the worst of them all. I miss Steam 1.0's interface. Just a games list and a friends system that "...is currently down for maintenance".
