I imagine it to be simcity streamlined and heavily shaped on a banana republic.
aagh fuck painkiller why the shits do i have to be so broke just now
magicka is fucking amazing, get it if you dont own it yet
Anyone reccommend Dreamfall? I want to get it because I liked The longest journey but I've heard bad things about dreamfall.
Which Painkiller game is the best?
The new one is basically the old one with slight changes, a newer engine, better graphics etc. The mods are shit.
why does dark souls prepare to die have such bad user score? it's making me wonder if I should get it or not http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition
First Painkiller is pretty much the best, everything after that has been a downfall. [editline]2nd January 2013[/editline]
why does dark souls prepare to die have such bad user score? it's making me wonder if I should get it or not http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition
The game itself is fucking brilliant, it's the port that people cry about. The game is very much playable for me, just get a gamepad and DSfix.
KOTOR 1 or 2?
Magicka for £2 is a steal
Magicka is fucking broken.
why does dark souls prepare to die have such bad user score? it's making me wonder if I should get it or not http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition
The game is fucking incredible, one of the best. It's a mix of a poor port (Though it's incredibly well optimized, and you get more content than the console version) and gamer entitlement. Just use DSfix to upscale some textures and run at 60 fps, and a gamepad (M+KB is possible with some unofficial patches but not recommended) [editline]2nd January 2013[/editline] Honestly, look at the reviews for Metacritic, every negative one is complaining about it being a poor port (regardless of the devs admitting it before release)
Damn? each one of the Tomb Raiders on sale for £1.74? I tried Underworld a few years back when I bought the Wii version [sp]please don't kill me[/sp] and realized that the game guide I bought with it was useless as it was intended for PC,Xbox and PS3 versions which had slightly different solutions/layouts. I also noticed that the Wii version had a shit ton of cut content. In the opening mission they heavily advertised there weren't even any Sharks. The only Tomb Raider game I actually ever completed was Legend, I got about halfway through anniversary and AOD before I got bored because in the former I had no clue what to do and in the latter the game had a massive difficulty spike I couldn't beat. Oh man did AOD suck, the combat was some sort of sick joke and the climbing was almost as bad, doing the wrong thing constantly. I also played 3 and 4, all I ever accomplished in 3 was locking the butler inside the freezer at the mansion and in 4 I was bored in minutes. In general I'm shit at the games and yet I've played half of them. :v: I was also contemplating getting Kotor but then again its replay value is pretty poor as half of the planets like Taris, Manaan and to some extent Dantooine were really relieving to finish because they felt really dull, although its not to say they weren't enjoyable on the first run I wouldn't have the patience to beat them a third time. Kotor 2, with the exception of the oddball opening mission that wins my award for being the worst opening mission in any RPG ever, had some pretty interesting environments. What was good though about that first level was how mysterious and creepy it was, the only other place of which that managed to replicate the effect was Korriban.
KOTOR 1 or 2?
While the second game is the better one, after you've downloaded a fix or two, the first one will always have a special place in my heart. If possible I'd say both, they're amazing.
Everyone buy dark souls its a 10/10 game once you know how to play it.
Oh I don't know. The storepage "Strongly Recommends" a controller to play
Oh I don't know. The storepage "Strongly Recommends" a controller to play
Isn't one of the great things about PC gaming is that it's so versatile?
why does dark souls prepare to die have such bad user score? it's making me wonder if I should get it or not http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/dark-souls-prepare-to-die-edition
Lots of zeroes with the reasoning of it being a bad port.
Oh I don't know. The storepage "Strongly Recommends" a controller to play
Im playing on keyboard mouse easily, http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=488240 Download the latest fix its on 2.01 i believe m game looks crystal clear runs at 60 fps and mouse/keyboard.
The game is fucking incredible, one of the best.
I don't think you know what gamer entitlement actually means.
Yeah, go ahead and don't bother explaining, just imply that I don't know what it means, good work buddy. They clearly stated beforehand that they didn't have the resources or time to make the port perfect, and explained that it'd be lackluster before release. And people still complained, claiming they wasted their money, when it's clearly stated that it had issues, and needed a controller to be played well, they even threw in content that was otherwise DLC for everybody else, months before it was released for them.
I think PC gamers are fully entitled to a PC port that works even on some basic level with a keyboard and mouse (the primary method of controlling a desktop PC), or even with really basic UI tweaks like removing gamepad face buttons from the prompts. If people are complaining that it wasn't an amazing port built specifically for the PC from the ground up yeah okay that's entitlement but asking that basic features be included like the entire control interface being more than barely useable isn't entitled.
Just picked up KOTOR2. Does anyone remember the name of that mod which completed it?
