An African Serval Cat which has had residents in Detroit’s east side worried for their safety, was shot and killed. This is according to the feral cat rescue team which has been attempting to find the cat for almost a week. Local residents who saw the big cat said they reported it to the police and the Michigan Humane Society. Neither of those organisations were prepared to come to find the cat though. The cat was a 3-year-old Savannah cat nicknamed “Chum” and weighed 25 pounds. A savannah cat is a cross between an African servel cat and a domestic cat. Laura Wilhelm-Bruzek, from the Paws for the Cause feral cat rescue in Chesterfield, said the dead cat was found in a trash can on Monday night. Wilhelm-Bruzek was not too pleased about the fact the cat was shot dead by residents: “I think people can’t just go around shooting things they don’t understand. I think we need to be a little bit more respectful of the animals and human beings around us. I’d love to see someone look into it and investigate it. But I’m not holding out a lot of hope. This whole thing from the beginning has just been a mess.”

DETROIT — A big cat roaming Detroit's northeast side is dead, according to a feral cat rescue group that had been trying to find it for days.
The body of the 25-pound, 3-year-old Savannah cat named Chum was found in a trash can on Detroit's east side Monday evening, said founder Laura Wilhelm-Bruzek of Paws for the Cause, a feral cat rescue group based in Chesterfield Township, Mich.

A neighbor shot the cat days ago, she said. The all-volunteer nonprofit rescue group and advocates for feral cats had been searching for the cat since Saturday.
"I think people can't just go around shooting things they don't understand," Wilhelm-Bruzek said Tuesday. "I think we need to be a little bit more respectful of the animals and human beings around us. I'd love to see someone look into it and investigate it. But I'm not holding out a lot of hope. This whole thing from the beginning has just been a mess."

I read about a suspected wild cat in Detroit but I didn't want to report on it beacuse suspecting shit is gay. It sucks they weren't able to trap it though.

Hollly shit, the text editor is fucked up. I pasted at least 6 times, loaded up a different article and then the paste finally worked. Now it won't let me edit this, I think Garry needs to work on the forums a little bit.
What is with your op, everything is repeating in the weirdest places. Poor cat though.

No, I pasted the article at least 6 times. Nothing showed up. I figured the article I used had a copy & paste blocker or whatever. So when I tried c&p'ing another article it worked fine and looked fine. Now it won't let me edit my post either. The forums coding is fucked up I think, there's been a bug in the editor since forever that won't let you edit OPs

Whoa, yeah, bringing your post up in the edit screen only brings up a blank page.
How about you just remake this thread?
