Nope. All games work like a charm.
so far, i haven't encountered any game that has compatibility issues. even older games, such as diablo 2, arcanum, startopia, tropico, etc. and they all run well.
Alright thanks a lot. Since I'm here, what is the best version to get for a gamer. I am getting the 64 bit version but which one is a better deal: Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate?

all of these are good for gamers, i think. i'd go with professional or home premium though, as ultimate seems like a waste for gamers. here's a comparison chart:

Thanks for that. I think that I'll go with Professional.
unless you also need a copy of XP, just go with Home Premium
all games should work unless its from DOS.
because DOS is only 16 bit.

That is if you are running a 64 bit OS. 32 bit can still run DOS programs.

Yeah I do need a copy of XP. None of mine work.
And in the box it comes with both 64 bit and 32 bit versions, right?
it's like XP built into 7, you can't use it on another machine

1: why would you get x64 win7
2: op said hes getting x64
You can run 16bit programs in DOSBOX so I don't see a problem.
7 compatibility = Vista compatibility. If not a little bit improved. At least superficially. Although I must admit there are some things I ran on vista I have trouble running on 7. Very few things, but some things still.
Like most of these issues nearly every incompatibility has some form of workaround.
