FuckinG HYPED
snip
Looks absolutely fucking insane.
It looks like a demented ultra violence film from the 70's, but modern. LOVELY.
This is going to be the most manly, ball shattering testosterone fest since 300.
oh my fucking god [editline]31st March 2015[/editline] the sex slave angle will have sjws in flames I love it
It looks like a demented ultra violence film from the 70's, but modern. LOVELY.
Out of the ashes, out from the wreckage, can't make the same mistakes this time. Also this is gonna be fuckin' metal.
I need this. I NEED THIS.
The film looks absolutely vibrant and beautiful without being overdone. The skies are blue, the sand and the explosions are orange. But it's not overdone to a point of being in your face "Stylized", it still feels grounded to reality a bit, but it's CRISP. Such a fresh breath of air honestly. I like color movies to be like this, otherwise you might as well go black and white.
I swear I heard a familiar noise from portal 2 in this. It was in around the guitar scene. Wish I knew from what sound pack it came from.
Fuck work. I'm there opening night.
It's going to be a LOVELY day!
I swear I heard a familiar noise from portal 2 in this. It was in around the guitar scene. The best part about this is that it's actually written and directed by the same guy who created the franchise.
Holy fuck I love the villain's voice
My brother has never seen any of the Mad Max movies and asked my father, "What's rare in that world, gasoline or water?" My father simply answered, "Sanity" :v: Hyped!
The villain is played by the same actor who played the villain in the first Mad Max movie.
This isn't a movie, this is a motion picture event. Looks amazing.
The best part about this is that it's actually written and directed by the same guy who created the franchise.
It's the same director/write of all 3 Mad Max movies before this one: George Miller Even better though, this guy is also the same director of the amazing Babe and Babe 2: Pig In The City and Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2 [editline]1st April 2015[/editline] I AM SO EXCITED OH MY GOOOOOODDDDD
hiype omg next month
Fan fucking tastic, I need to catch up on the franchise.
I can't wait! I know it's a reboot of sorts, but this is still between MM1 and MM2 right? When he jumped over his car...
I can't wait! I know it's a reboot of sorts, but this is still between MM1 and MM2 right? When he jumped over his car...
it's between road warrior and thunderdome, so 2 and 3.
I swear I heard a familiar noise from portal 2 in this. It was in around the guitar scene. Wish I knew from what sound pack it came from.
If you mean the sound at 1:54, that's the sound the Combine turrets in HL2 make when they lock on to a target. It's probably in Portal, too. Valve tend to use a fair few stock sound effects in their games.
The villain is played by the same actor who played the villain in the first Mad Max movie.
Are you telling me you forgot the name of THE TOECUTTER?
Looks promising. I just fucking hope action scenes are smooth and not supercut like Taken 3...
Are you telling me you forgot the name of THE TOECUTTER?
Byrne did such an amazing job with that role. I have no doubt his screen presence in Fury Road will be fantastic.
I've been extremely skeptical about this so far, but this trailer has got me with high hopes. The Mad Max trilogy are some of my favorite movies out there. Looks like their modernizing the things that will benefit from it, and leaving the original feel very much intact.
They spot-on nailed the feel of it all. It looks like it has the same tone as Road Warrior, but modern and with a higher budget. That's pretty much all I could've asked for.
