I think I'm the only person left on facepunch that doesn't bash CoD. I agree that the community is among the worst for online gaming, but I don't find the game to be that terrible. It has its flaws, but for me, they don't utterly destroy or break the game. I understand people hating the developers for "milking" the series, but it's fucking annoying hearing people completely over-react. It's hard to mention "call of duty" without someone else telling you how much they hate it. Only thing worse then the little kids that play this game are the people who won't shut up about how much they hate it.
"extensive weapon customization? this game is gay!!"
I'd actually want to get this for the zombie mode player characters, but it's still too expensive for that.
the map packs always end up at the top of the "top sellers" list on steam :(
Yeah no thanks
The map pack is almost $20... Jesus Christ.
Oh boy, I'm sure to spend $15 on a small amount of content that was intentionally cut from the game! What a deal!
the map packs always end up at the top of the "top sellers" list on steam :(
Well, that's probably due to how a lot of people only got Steam accounts because you need one for Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2.
You know being a level designer for cod is a cool job, if you don't consider the fact that they are paid like chinese workers in an iphone factory, you make a a couple of shitty maps for fun and they end up being map packs. and you don't see a cent from it

Do you know how much effort goes into making sure they are perfectly balanced in a numerous amount of ways? It sounds like you don't enjoy CoD, but that doesn't mean those who work on the maps are bad at what they do. It would be a killer job, and I bet they make a great living.
:toot:
Alright get it out of your system Activision Can we have mod tools now
Oh boy, a chance to buy content that I should've gotten with the game.
