Title says it all...
I see a download link on YouTube under the video now. Which I sometimes use. It's useful and great ... but why? Don't the corporations get mad at that? I mean there are some videos that get taken down because of copyright violations ... but YouTube lets you download videos/songs?
EDIT:
And I mean there is a download button. I know some OP's like to link a download link in the description ... but I'm talking about the actual interface of YouTube. It has a download button now...
There's a download button?

I noticed I don't see it when I'm using Firefox ... but on Chrome I see it. It's between the "Share" and "Flag" buttons under the video.
I don't see shit, only the Share and Flag buttons. You sure you aren't using a Chrome add-on?
Sure sounds like an add-on that maybe a friend of yours installed or something
I don't see a download button. If I recall correctly I was able to download my own videos from my Video Manager, but that's the extent of it.
When I downloaded Chrome I just downloaded it straight. I didn't put any add-ons. Well I guess it's not YouTube. I always thought it was actually part of the interface, which confused me.
Unless I downloaded an add-on unknowingly. The icon is a blue box with an orange arrow pointing down.
I never used to see it on but one day it came out of nowhere. So I assumed it was another typical YouTube interface update.
EDIT:
Well I guess it's settled. It isn't YouTube. I thought it was, which is what confused me and compelled me to ask about it.
