So, im hungry, and im in the mood for sweet cakes. They are really nice and airy, and you can put whatever you want into them. My personal favourite is Chocolate powder, but Vanilla Extract is very nice too. They are quite small but they are VERY tasty. Instructions will be below. Ingredients: 100g Butter 100g Self Raise Flower 100g Sugar 2 Eggs 12 Paper cake cases Vanilla Extract or Chocolate powder Instructions: 1. Sieve the flour into a large mixing bowl, make sure there are no lumps. 2. Take the 100 Grams of butter, and cut into halfs. 3. Drop in the sugar, then stir the mix with a spoon. 4. Crack 2 eggs, and put it into the mixture. 5. Whisk the mix, until it looks nice and airy, check for lumps. (If you are doing chocolate ones, add the powder, a small spoon of powder and put it in the mix, stir with a spoon before whisking) 6. If you are doing Vanilla cakes, add 1 small spoon of Vanilla Extract to the mix. 7. Whisk again 8. Put the mix into the bun cases. Make sure the cases are in a cake rack. 9. Put in the oven, for 15 - 20 minutes, for 180 Degrees. 10. Decorate the buns, if you want. 11. Eating Time!
Grams? I'm sorry, I thought this was Uh'murrca! Seriously, though, I need to get a kitchen scale...
Haha, i hope this recipe helped you. The result is really good, and the ingredients are SO basic. If you have any other suggestions i should do, like, homemade twinkies. I will post them!
