The set had been dressed to look like Manhattan in 1969, granted, but while Smith looked his 42 years, 64-year-old Lee Jones appeared to be substantially younger. But alas, despite having the backing of the behemoth that is Sony, the team behind the three-quel have not perfected the art of time travel, and it was all just a clever bit of casting. Agent K, for this segment of the film at least, was being played by Josh Brolin, 43, as a younger version of the gnarly character we last saw in 2002, when Men in Black II was released. But nothing was as it seemed on this set, and fans who were lucky enough to get a picture with the 'zebra' being filmed for the alien extravaganza, were in for a bit of a shock. More... Cringe! In this long-awaited return of the sombre-suited agents, Smith's character returns to 1969 and encounters famous figures of the day, like Yoko Ono, as well as the younger version of Agent K. Superbad's Bill Hader could be spotted on set dressed as the legendary 60s icon Andy Warhol. They will battle Flight of the Conchords star Jermaine Clement, who plays a shadowy figure called Boris. The film also stars Emma Thompson, Nicole Scherzinger and Alice Eve, the daughter of British actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Smith is currently the focus of speculation regarding another film, Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. The popular actor is hotly tipped to take the lead role in the hugely anticipated Western, which tells the story of a former slave. Some fans of the legendary director have voiced an unease at the casting, but many have pointed to the inspired casting of John Travolta in Pulp Fiction in support of the choice. No Tommy Lee Jones? AWWWW
Ok so what do aliens have to do with this? Or are they just going with the whole "supernatural" thing?
Holy shit!
No Tommy Lee Jones? AWWWW
he's in the movie josh brolin just plays the younger version of his character why do I get winner ratings for regurgitating what was in the OP
he's in the movie josh brolin just plays the younger version of his character
thank god, i definitely would of given this movie a miss without tommy lee
Brolin is way too old to play Tommy from the 60s [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] They should have cast someone in their 20s
Isn't it considered animal cruely to completely paint a horse?
Isn't it considered animal cruely to completely paint a horse?
Quiet, you.
Isn't it considered animal cruely to completely paint a horse?
who gives a shit
Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords stars in this. Excited.
Hopefully a majority of the film isn't set during the past, I want present day Agent K throughout the majority of it. 10 Years of waiting for the next film, I don't want Josh Brolin taking up valuable TLJ time.
The second one sucked, but considering it was a box office hit, I guess it seems right for them to make another one.
Cmon. It doesn't look bad for now.
The second one sucked, but considering it was a box office hit, I guess it seems right for them to make another one.
I liked the second one. This one will suck. You know a sequel is going to suck when it's about time travel.
who gives a shit
The horse.
The horse.
does it look like it gives a shit to you. it gives shit only about eating hay
does it look like it gives a shit to you. it gives shit only about eating hay
It doesn't even know it's been painted. And if it knew it would'nt care.
Horses are secretly planning the NWO for the NWO, they're also working with Dolphins.
Of course!

is the second movie worth watching anyway?
I liked the second one. This one will suck. You know a sequel is going to suck when it's about time travel.

That doesn't count, the whole series is about time travel. Men in Black doesn't have anything to do with time travel, and shouldn't. It's about aliens.
Brolin is way too old to play Tommy from the 60s [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] They should have cast someone in their 20s
Was Kay ever young? :v:

Sweet, I've been waiting for MiB 3 since MiB 2
That's a minor plot point at best
Using it to save that thing Hagrid was keeping was kinda a huge point later on. Everything is relevant, if it wasn't they wouldn't have written it in.
